Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the ParkQ app and website (the Service), operated by [Company legal name]. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use ParkQ.

Accounts & OTP sign-in

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account and use ParkQ.
• You sign in with your phone number and a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to it. There are no passwords to remember — and none to steal.
• You are responsible for keeping your phone and OTP codes secure. Do not share OTPs with anyone; ParkQ staff will never ask for them.
• You agree to provide accurate account details and to keep them up to date.

Bookings (drivers)

• When you book a spot, you are entering an agreement with the host who listed it. ParkQ provides the marketplace and payment processing; the parking service itself is provided by the host.
• A booking is confirmed once payment is accepted in the app. Show your booking confirmation to the host on arrival.
• You must arrive and vacate within the booked time window. Staying beyond it may incur additional charges set by the host.
• ParkQ will publish guidance on arrival grace periods before launch; specifics are currently TBA.

Host obligations

When you list a parking space on ParkQ, you agree to:

• List accurately. The location, size, photos, and availability of your space must be true and current.
• Honor availability. If a driver books your space, you must make it available for the full booked window.
• Use your space lawfully. You must have the legal right to rent out the space (ownership, tenancy rights, or society permission where required) and comply with local rules.
• Keep the space safe and accessible for the booked duration.

Every listing is reviewed by ParkQ before it goes live. Repeated violations may result in your listing being removed or your account being suspended.

Fees & payments

Our fee structure — including any service fees charged to drivers or commission charged to hosts — is currently TBA and will be published before launch. You will always see the full price, including any fees, before you confirm a booking or a listing.

Cancellations

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. In short: this policy takes effect at launch, and refunds are supported from day one.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use ParkQ for any unlawful purpose.
• Post false, misleading, or incomplete listings or booking information.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users, or share their personal details outside the app.
• Attempt to disrupt the Service, scrape data at scale, or bypass security measures.
• Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions or evade bans.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice in cases of fraud or safety risk.

Liability limitations

ParkQ provides the marketplace; the parking itself is provided by independent hosts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Company legal name] is not liable for:

• Loss of, or damage to, your vehicle or belongings while parked at a listed space.
• A host's failure to make a booked space available, except where we have guaranteed it in writing.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid to ParkQ for the booking in question, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Dispute resolution

We would rather fix a problem than argue about it. If you have a dispute with us, first contact our Grievance Officer (see Grievance Redressal) so we can try to resolve it directly.

If we cannot resolve it, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration in India, conducted in English. The seat and venue of arbitration, and the number of arbitrators, are currently TBA and will be specified before launch.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you in the app before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
