ParkQ isn't live yet, but the core driver flow is already taking shape. Here's how booking a spot will work, step by step — described as we're building it, with no mock screenshots and no promises we can't keep.
Search: the live map
It starts with a map. You'll search by where you're headed — an office, a market, a friend's apartment — and see bookable spots nearby with their prices and availability. Discovery is the heart of the product: instead of circling the block, you pick a spot before you leave.
Each listing shows the details that matter: photos of the spot, the address and entry instructions from the host, and the times it's available. Listings are moderated before they appear, so what you see is accurate and bookable.
Book: seconds, not phone calls
When you've found your spot, booking takes seconds. You pick your arrival window, confirm your vehicle, and the spot is yours. No haggling over the phone, no "sir, five minutes" negotiations at the gate.
You'll get notifications at each step — booking confirmed, a reminder before your slot, and anything the host needs to tell you. If plans change or you need to coordinate entry, in-app messaging connects you directly with the host.
Park: arrive with confidence
On arrival, you follow the host's entry instructions from the listing. Because the spot was reserved for you, there's no circling, no double-parking anxiety, no guessing.
Your vehicles live in the app, so repeat bookings get faster over time — pick the car or bike you're taking and go.
What's still on the way
A few pieces of the loop are planned for launch rather than day one of testing. Refunds and cancellation handling will be part of the booking experience at launch, and QR Smart Stickers — a quick way to verify you're at the right spot — are coming soon. We'll update this post as each piece goes live, so what you read here stays honest.
